had a lackluster ride home yesterday.
horrible sounds coming from rear hub.
inspect.
junk.
2nd time this yr.
my only campy bike,
can't swap wheels,
outta commission fer a bit.

this morning, gotta ride,
looked at the old commuter,
jenn's old mtb,
no way.
so done with that.

slapped slicks on the planet cross.
on the road so plush, forgiving,
but so easy to get-up and go.
it was an outta body experience.
