nice day(s)

been pouring all day, wind is beating on the windows. checked weather.com to see what to wear on the ride home: 48 degrees, heavy rain, ne wind at 26mph, gusting to 38. nice day for a ride. figure, if you can't escape it, might as well go buddha and embrace it... forecast for next 5 days doesn't include one ray of sunshine. maybe i should race this wknd - it's always interesting to get out on the course when things are burly...

do you leave extra ride clothes at work or do you carry crap weather stuff with you? I've been trying to figure out how to deal with such dilemas. I don't ride everyday so I can shuttle stuff to and from the office but if you commute every day...

i carry my work clothes back and forth everyday (and laptop) in my trusty Bailey Works Bag (xl) that jenn bought me. 5yrs old and no water has gotten through, not even in the worst of moonsoons. one of the best (most used) gifts i've ever gotten.

lack of updates meaning bad weather in Boston and whole lots of time spent on trainer :((

It's going to be another road trip baby! 12 hours of sitting in the car, eating and holding our pee till the next gas stop! - a whole new meaning to endurance training.

Been there. Done road trips to Colorado like 4 or 5 times.
Be safe. Looking foward to the race.
