xmas with the fam!

went for a 90' min ride with my pops yesterday. sunny, high in the 50's, another ride planned for today. the roads here in northern georgia are pimp! constant rolling hills with good wide shoulders. got a good final "prep" phase week in, another planned for next week w/lots of boarding. am looking fwd to ramping-up to longer endurance rides after New Year's, but for now am eating and drinking as much crap as humanly possible. gotta love the holidays!

thinking about what races to focus on next year. am really intrigued about doing an unsupported epic vs TransRockies or TransAlps. if you're gonna go epic, why not go all the way?

saw Narnia yesterday with the whole crew (minus my pops, he always sneaks-out of stuff like that!), pretty good family friendly flick for the little ones. my 5 and 7 year-old nieces really enjoyed it. it was also nice to keep the tradition going of seeing a movie w/my mom at xmas and even better that we could share the tradition w/the little ones this year.

it's almost xmas! the nieces are bouncing-off the walls, but it's hard to blame 'em when santa's coming in less than 24hrs!

Rock on riding with pops. The last time my dad tried getting on one of my bikes he almost fell off. HA! Nice tradition with your mom too. Enjoy the holidays!

I'll be interested to see your 06 schedule. Mine looks like it will be dictated by finaces. F.

Later.

no doubt the Benjamins dictate the schedule, one of the biggest reasons haven't committed to TransRockies yet... my goal is to have the '06 schedule nailed-down by New Year's - need the big "A" race on there to give focus to the training...
